Batavierenrace 2024: 24 - 25 May

The Batavierenrace is the largest relay in the world! A relay race from Nijmegen to Enschede, followed up with the biggest student festival. The race is divided in 25 stages, varying in length from 4 km up to 10 km.

For joining you don’t need to be a supersonic fast runner, everyone can join and a lot of the Student Sport Associations have a team running for the Batavierenrace.

However, in case you are faster than light: join the Maastricht University Team. This team competes with other universities in the Netherlands, to become the quickest. A very serious challenge for which we need the best runners at Maastricht University, including those not up for a party.

Results 2023

After a night and day full of great performances, little sleep and a good atmosphere, the UM Team reached a great 6th place in the University Competition!
